Conde Product Catalog Pricing Setup

Condé pricing has two parts: vendor pricing is what you pay Condé, and customer pricing is what you charge your customer. Configure them separately so your selling price covers your supplier cost. Products and prices come from a catalog copy YoPrint stores rather than a live feed from Condé.

Enable the Condé catalog

Click Configuration in the top navigation bar to open the menu.
Choose Settings.
Choose General in the sidebar.
Open the Catalog tab.
Click Configure beside Enable Condé Catalog.
Select Enable Catalog. The Markup Percentage field can be ignored. It has no effect since live pricing stopped.
Click Save.

Return to Configure to turn the catalog off. Turning off the catalog hides it from future searches while preserving existing products and orders. Cancel leaves your saved settings unchanged.

Check the supplier cost on a purchase order

These pictures show an earlier version of YoPrint; the screens may have changed since they were taken. The price comes from YoPrint's stored catalog, so before you order, confirm with your Condé account or price list the current cost, any quantity discount you get, and that the item is still available.

To check supplier pricing on an order, open Stock Control > Purchase Order, start or open a purchase order, add a Condé item, and click Check Vendor. If the Vendor Pricing dialog displays the raw base cost, edit the purchase order's Unit Price column directly.

YoPrint does not automatically apply Condé quantity price breaks. Check the price for the quantity you are ordering, even when the catalog lists a lower price for a larger order, and enter any discounted rate directly in the purchase order.

Set the customer markup

Your pricing group controls the selling price. Customer markups multiply against the catalog base cost to calculate retail prices. Allow for your supplier cost when choosing a customer markup. Include what Condé charges for shipping when you set your selling price.

From Settings, choose Pricing Group in the sidebar.
Double-click the pricing group you want to edit. This example uses Normal Retail Pricing.
Enter the Default Catalog Markup (%). This example uses 20%. It applies to catalog products without a matching product rule across all connected catalogs.

To use a different markup for Condé products, continue with the product rule below. Product rules require Essential or above. Otherwise, skip to Save the pricing group; without product rules, all catalog items use the group's default markup.

Add a Condé product rule

This example uses a 40% customer markup for Condé products instead of the group's 20% default. Choose a percentage that covers your costs and profit.

Turn on Enable Product Rules.
Click + Rule.
Enter a Name for the rule, such as Conde customer markup.
Under Catalog Product, open the Action dropdown. Leave Custom Product set to Use Default Price.
Choose Use Markup (%).
Enter the customer markup in Percentage. This example uses 40%.
Click + beside AND / OR to add a rule condition.
Open the first dropdown in the condition row.
Choose Product Type. Leave Contains selected.
In the value input on the right, type Conde.
Select Condé from the suggestions. Press Escape or click the dialog background to dismiss the suggestions list before saving.
Click Save to return to the pricing group.

Save the pricing group

Click Publish in the pricing group editor to apply your changes.

Publishing applies the updated pricing to future line items. Use Save Draft instead if you want to finish the changes later; existing saved orders retain their original pricing.
