SMS Message Templates

Creating an SMS Template
- To create an SMS template, go to Settings > Message Templates.
- Select + Message Template > SMS Template.
- Type in a name for the template, and select the template type - Purchase Order, Sales Order, or Quote message template.
- Type in your message, and add variables as you need.
- Make sure to click on Refresh to see the updates you’ve made.
- Click on Save once you’re done.
Using an SMS Template
- To send your customers an SMS message template, go to the order, and click on Message Customer.
- Click on Switch to SMS.
- Select your Message Template from the dropdown, and click on Send SMS.

- If you’d like to send your vendors an SMS, follow the same steps in Purchase Orders.
Important Note: Registration and Verification
In order for the links in the SMS to be sent to customers correctly for customers in the US and Canada, you’ll need to complete a couple of registration processes with Twilio.
For SMS messages to the US, you’ll need to register to use A2P 10DLC messaging, and/or complete Toll-Free Message Verification with Twilio.
For SMS messages to Canada, you’ll need to complete Toll-Free Message Verification with Twilio.
