Set Up SMS Message Templates
You can send SMS messages directly through YoPrint using templates. This feature allows you to send pre-written messages to customers or vendors directly from your Sales Orders, Quotes, or Purchase Orders with consistency.
Before you begin, make sure your Twilio account is connected to YoPrint. Learn how to integrate Twilio here.
Create an SMS template
1. In YoPrint, go to Configuration > Settings > Message Templates.
2. Click + Message Template, then select SMS Template.
3. Fill out the following:
- A Name for your template.
- The Template Type (default message content will be generated)
- Purchase Order Message (for vendors)
- Sales Order Message (for customers)
- Quote Message (for customers)
4. Use Variables to automatically include details such as order number, customer name, or totals.
Note: You can modify the message content at any time according to your requirements.
5. Click Refresh to preview your message.
6. When done, click Save.
Tip: Use short, clear wording for SMS templates to stay within carrier character limits, if any.
Use an SMS template
Once you’ve created your SMS template, you can start sending messages directly from your orders.
1. Open the Sales Order, Quote, or Purchase Order.
2. Click the ✉️ mail icon.
3. Choose Send Using SMS to filter the templates.
4. Select the SMS template to use from the dropdown. The message body will populate automatically.
5. Review the message and click Send.
If you’re sending SMS to vendors, follow the same steps from the Purchase Order screen.
Important Note: Registration and Verification
If you’re sending SMS messages to customers in the US or Canada, you must complete the required registration and verification steps with Twilio to ensure your messages and links are delivered properly.

- For Canadian numbers:
