Create Orders for Pickup
In YoPrint, you can create pickup orders by setting the shipment method to Pick Up. This allows customers to collect their orders directly from your chosen location. You can also combine pickup with delivery in a single order by adding multiple shipments.
What you'll need
- Customer records
- A quote with products added
- A pickup location configured
Steps to Create a Pickup Order
1. Start by creating a new quote.
2. Select the customer, but leave the Default Bill To and Default Ship To sections blank.
3. Add the services and products. Click here for guidance.
4. In the Shipment section, click the three-dot menu > Add Shipment.
5. Select Pick Up as the shipping type.
6. Choose the pickup address from the dropdown.
7. [Optionally] Fill in the Receiver Contact, Brand Profile, and Packed By.
8. Click on Auto Pack to pack all your items automatically and add a shipping cost.
9. Don't forget to click Save and Close.
10. Once everything looks good, click Publish to publish the quote.
The order is now ready for pick-up.
Notes and Tips
- Shipments are optional. If it’s a straightforward pickup order, you can skip creating a shipment. However, if you need a packing slip, you’ll need to add a shipment.
- You can also add shipments to published orders. This is useful if you want to add a pickup or delivery option after the quote has already been published as an order.
- If you’d like to create an order that includes both delivery and pickup, you can do so by adding multiple shipments (one for delivery and one for pickup).
